Star Wars Art & More Expo: Use the Force to Fight Sex Trafficking!
On December 1-2, 2017 in Houston, TX, Free the Captives presents our inaugural Star Wars Art & More Expo. This two-day exhibition will be a family-friendly event for everyone to enjoy. Join us and fight teen sex trafficking in Houston! Your artwork can make a difference in the lives of young teens.

Free the Captives is accepting any form of artwork Star Wars related. This may include paintings, drawings, photography, prints, sculptures, jewelry, etc. We ask for one to four pieces per artist. There is no size limitation or medium, but please try to keep it under 48”. Due to the huge interest in submissions, a selective process will be strictly enforced and entry is not guaranteed. If accepted, there is a $20 entry fee per artist (which covers up to four art pieces). Please send samples of your latest work for review to email@example.com with the subject line “Star Wars Art Submission.” Free the Captives reserves the right to set artwork pricing to sell.
Art Drop Off: Please bring artwork on Friday, December 1 beween 8am and 3pm.
Art Pick Up: Saturday, Dec. 2 from 7pm to 8pm. If you cannot pick up your artwork on Dec. 2, please make arrangements for someone else to pick it up. Free the Captives will not be responsible for any artwork left behind after Dec. 2.
Transaction/Pay out: There will be a 70/30 split between Free the Captives and artists (70% artists / 30% Free the Captives). Free the Captives will handle ALL transactions and sales (except for vendors). On Saturday, Dec. 2 from 7pm to 8pm, a check will be issued to artists who have sold their artwork.
Registration Fees: $20 per artist (up to 4 art pieces), due upon acceptance into the expo. This fee is for venue costs, promotional costs, flyers/posters, administration & staff, booth spaces, and miscellaneous costs. This fee will also grant you free admission into the 2-day event. A link for payment will be emailed to you. Registration fees are nonrefundable.
- Bronze Package – $500 (Logos will be included in the online publications, event page, 11,000+ social media)
- Silver Package – $750 (Logos will be included in the online publications, event page, 11,000+ social media, 10,000+ email blasts)
- Gold Package – $1,000 (Logos will be included in the online publications, event page, social media, 10,000+ email blasts, 5,000 printed flyers, and a free booth space)
