Christmas Market, Next Friday and Saturday!
Next weekend — shop for a cause! On Nov. 18 – 19, Friday & Saturday, come to our annual Christmas Market! Please invite your friends and join us. This is one of the biggest days for selling the candles made by our teen trafficking survivors. The market will be at Crosspoint Church, 4601 Bellaire Blvd., Bellaire, TX 77401 on Friday from 1pm to 8pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Our teen trafficking survivors made 4000 candles this summer, and we need to sell them this fall in order to hire more girls next summer. Please come out and support our girls by buying their handpoured soy candles. If you can’t make it, you can buy candles online at http://www.

Sponsor a Teen Trafficking Victim for Christmas
Help make Christmas special for a teen trafficking survivor! You can provide a Christmas dinner, small tree/decorations and presents for one of our young ladies. We will provide you with a list of items for the meal and gifts. Their Christmas celebrations in the past have been sparse, and we want to make this one special!
Because of the costs involved, this is a great group project either for your co-workers, Sunday school class, or Bible study. If you are interested, please email info@freethecaptiveshouston.
Young Professionals Group: Christmas Market & Dinner
Our first event was a huge success! We thank everyone who came out to La Grange Restaurant. Our next event for young professionals is on Nov. 18, Friday. We will meet up at Free the Captives’ Christmas Market at 6:00pm and then go eat dinner afterwards at Grand Luxe. For more info and to RSVP, click here.

Trafficking Survivor Spotlight
It should have been a fun evening. We took the girls out for a movie and dinner. They laughed and rode the carousel. For several, it was their first time to ride a carousel. They had fun but my heart broke. One girl said that her trafficker had shot and killed her 17 year old friend that was trafficked with her.
Oh how I wished their childhoods had been full of carousel rides instead of parents who abandoned them or predators who stole their innocence at a young age. I wish they could have been normal teenagers instead of having to worry about their pimp finding them and hurting them again.
My heart breaks. It is so hard to take the girls out for fun and special evenings because it is always in such stark reality to what they have to deal with everyday. We live in a broken, fallen world. And I hate that. I hate that my girls suffer so much, day in and day out. Please keep praying for all of us and for God’s perfect provision.
