Free the Captives' Urban Prevention and Intervention Program:The purpose of the Urban Prevention and Intervention Program is to work with girls, ages 12 to 18, who are at high risk of being trafficked or are victims of domestic minor sex trafficking. The goals are to prevent the trafficking of Houston’s at risk teens as well as identify victims within this hidden crime through weekly education and life skills classes. Once identified, we intervene and work with law enforcement to rescue victims and then coordinate appropriate legal and social services. We are currently accepting referrals for at risk girls or victims for this free program. Please contact info@freethecaptiveshouston.com for a referral form. Free the Captives is also looking for female volunteers to help with this program.
